Question by angelsakuralynn: does anyone know the Lenovo Thinkpad x60?
i watched its review in cnet,the editor told lots of good things about it,and she also mentioned the small antenna on it and it is to connect the pc to the internet,my question is can you connect to the internet with that antenna anywhere without using wireless router just that antenna anywhere for example when you are outdoor like in the park?please help me because i’m really curious about it and does the lenovo a good brand of a tablet pc?

You would have to be in a wifi hotspot, ie, somewhere that has a wireless transceiver unit to allow you to connect to the internet. It won’t simply connect anywhere because of that antenna.

The antenna is most likely just there to improve the signal strength and range of the wifi operation.

    My company just begun using this as our standard Exec laptop, they use the T60 as standard Non-Exec so my answer is yes I think the X60 is a good laptop!
